Making New Call

Making New Call feature enables you to make a new call in the middle of an active call, by dialing an access code.

ATA will release the current call and you will get the dial tone, enabling you to dial digits for making the new call.

Using Making a New Call

1. A is in speech with B.

2. A dials #81 (access code for Making New Call).

3. The current call is released, A gets dial tone.

4. A can dial C’s number.

5. A is in speech with C.

• You can use access code for Making New Call on the FXO and FXS port.

• This feature call be used only by the caller.

• If you have a call on hold, you will not be able to use Making New Call feature for the second call.

• Making New Call will not be applicable when you are in a conference.

• To use this feature make sure that the Incoming call routing option selected on the FXO port is:

• Answer the call, collect number & route as per incoming call route selection

• Route to FXS. If not answered within ring timer, answer the call, collect number & route as per

incoming call route selection
